You build people, not just projects.</li></ul>You're the kind of leader others want to work for.What You'll Be Responsible For as a Steel Erection Superintendent As a Superintendent at S&amp;R, you are the field leader. Your decisions drive safety, schedule, and success.You will:<ul><li>Lead crews and clearly communicate project plans.</li><li>Manage manpower, equipment, and daily jobsite operations.</li><li>Oversee crane selection, rigging, and lift planning.</li><li>Interpret structural, erection, and shop drawings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with AISC, OSHA Subpart R, AWS, and safety standards.</li><li>Coordinate vendors, materials, and deliveries.</li><li>Enforce safety programs and site-specific plans.</li><li>Complete reports, timesheets, and job documentation.</li><li>Support project planning, budgeting, and execution.</li></ul>You are the person the team looks to when it matters most.What You Need to Succeed<ul><li>Journeyman-level ironworker experience.</li><li>8-10 years in steel erection or structural steel industry.</li><li>5+ years in a leadership or superintendent role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of codes: AISC, RCSC, SJI, SDI, AWS D1.1/D1.5.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.</li><li>Experience with jobsite setup, crane operations, and rigging.</li><li>Proven leadership in crew management and field operations.</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.</li><li>Basic computer and reporting skills.</li><li>MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year (based on experience).</li><li>Per Diem: $800 - $1,000 weekly per diem.</li><li>Monthly Housing Allowance: Because this job is nationwide, we will provide a monthly housing allowance, as needed.</li><li>Monthly Truck Allowance: $800 - $1,000 truck allowance per month.</li><li>401(k): With company contribution.</li><li>Paid Time Off: 3 weeks paid vacation.</li><li>Monthly Family Travel: We know it's tough to travel, so we provide a little incentive to your family, too.</li><li>Health Coverage: 70% Family Health Care</li><li>Career Growth: Clear path to higher leadership roles.</li><li>Strong Team Culture: Built on trust, grit, and respect.</li><li>Long-Term Stability: We're building careers, not short-term jobs.</li></ul>Ready to Lead at the Next Level?If you've put in the time, built your reputation, and you're ready to lead a team that matches your standards, this is your opportunity.
